LMVSC Mini Kickers (pre-K) learn soccer through age appropriate activities.
This is LMVSC's 3rd Mini Kicker's season. The program continues to grow by
leaps and bounds with approximately 100 pre-K participating per season. It's
success is based on the Club's philosophy that the very young player learns
through "developmental age appropriate" activities, not through "lines - laps
or lectures". In other words, the Mini Kickers are not asked to develop
"soccer skills" that their little bodies are not prepared to perform. For
example, heading the ball. Also, the Mini Kicker's are not mixed with
Kindergartners or 1st graders; Pre-K, Kindergarteners and 1st graders have their
own developmental levels. Keeping the levels separate and focusing on where the
child is socially, cognitively and developmentally has attributed to the
success of this program.
Our Mini Kicker's sessions are conducted by professional coaches that know
how to develop the "game within the child". For more information about our
